Double room available 19 June in Hackney Central

One bedroom is available in our cosy Hackney Central house - I have lived here for over 4 years and managed it on behalf of our landlord, so really looking for someone to appreciate our home as much as we do.

The room is a fully furnished large sized double bedroom. The house has 3 bedrooms in total. Your room has a double bed, a desk, chair and a clothes rail. Unfortunately there is no living-room, but a welcoming kitchen where we can hangout/have dinner. We have a nice roof top garden with sofas and bbq so we can get some vitamin D during these isolation days.
The house and room has just been repainted a month ago so it’s all fresh!

Rent is £131 per week and this includes only council tax. Internet is £10 per month, utility bills £40 per month and a monthly cleaner £10, which totals to a £60 each per month to be paid at the beginning of the month.

The contract doesn’t allow smokers, couples or pets.

You will require a deposit of £520 but this is negotiable due to current uncertainty.

I’m 29, Romanian, and I work in HR. Nnung is 28, Australian and working in construction - we are very friendly and easy going. During lockdown we do a lot of diy and culinary projects, we make our own bread and kombucha. We also got to know the neighbours well and sometimes hang out on the roof with them (with social distancing of course) - we never feel lonely really but if we want to have our own space, we are always respectful and mindful of each other. We would love to find someone who appreciates the little perks of living in this cute Hackney house and gets involved with us in making the house better and fun.

ABOUT YOU:

You must be mature, professional and easy going, EXTREMELY clean and tidy (OCD, no problem), Non-smoker, Male or female- we don't mind.
In our flat sharing experience we’ve had very bad experiences with people not washing their dishes properly (or at all), collecting all cutlery in their room, slamming doors at night, not lifting the toilet seat or never taking the bins out etc. Without sounding too OCD, if you are the person who does some or all of the above, then we won’t get along at all.
