Large double room available in a 3-bedroom shared house just off Well Street, a short walk from Broadway Market and London Fields. The area has loads of great cafés, shops, restaurants and good transport links nearby.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. There isn’t a separate living room, but the kitchen is a nice space to chat when everyone crosses paths.
You’d be living with Sandra and Siobhan — two friendly, easygoing housemates. One works in fashion and the other in hospitality. Everyone tends to have their own schedules during the week, but we’ll often have a chat in the kitchen now and then. It’s a relaxed, respectful household rather than a party house.
The room itself is large and bright with big windows letting in lots of natural light. I’ve done an awful job of making it nice, but it has loads of potential to be a great multipurpose room. It comes with a bed frame, black chest of drawers and a table (optional if you’d like to keep it). Can discuss!
There is also a balcony in the property via Sandra’s room, which she’s happy for you to use — something you can chat about with her.
We’re ideally looking for a female around 30+, tidy and considerate, who would enjoy a calm home environment. The room would probably suit someone who works mostly outside the house rather than fully remotely.
Rent: £873.16 per month
(This may increase slightly each year, but typically only by a small amount.)
Bills: around £113 per month. Sometimes changing.
Bills are split between the house — the new tenant would take over the Octopus Energy bill, while the other housemates cover water, internet and council tax between them. All shared.
Available from 19 April.
As everyone in the house has quite busy schedules, I’ll be doing the initial viewings, then inviting a shortlist back to meet Sandra and Siobhan so everyone can make sure it feels like a good fit.
