Large double room, stunning house, Victoria Park

MON-FRI LET ONLY: BEAUTIFUL VICTORIA PARK HOUSE. We have a large double room (16 sq metres) to rent in our elegant house just next to Victoria Park, Hackney and round the corner from London Fields.

There is king-size bed, large built-in wardrobe with integral desk. Super-fast WiFi. All linens and towels provided.

The price is for single occupancy.

Beautiful spacious bathroom (Victorian-style bath, plus invigorating power shower). Bathroom shared with owners.

We are very centrally located, just 10 mins walk to Bethnal Green Tube which is on the Central Line and takes you straight to the West End (Oxford Circus 7 stops, 15 mins) or Stratford/Westfield (2 stops, 10 mins).

There are also buses within 3 mins walk which take you to Canary Wharf, the City or the West End.

Restaurants and theatre 10 min stroll from the house. London Fields Lido, 10 mins. Our local Hackney Picture House is superb, with great films and fantastic food. Westfield shopping centre at Stratford just 2 Tube stops away.

Public bike-hire station just at the end of the road. Electric car-hire station also at end of road.

You will delight in one of the edgiest and most interesting parts of London. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars at Broadway Market and nearby Victoria Park village.

There are some great art galleries in the area, and this part of Hackney is home to many well-known artists.

There is always something (and someone) interesting to look at as you visit the markets nearby... including a Sunday food market in Victoria Park, Columbia Road Flower Market, Brick Lane and Spitalfields - all within walking distance..

Saturday morning is a treat as our nearest market, Broadway Market, is the buzziest place to be this side of London. Within a 5 min walk you have shops, food stalls, street music, bars and restaurants.

Victoria Park is 3 mins' walk away and is a stunning, tranquil space, with lakes, fountains, the trendy Pavilion Cafe and Regent's Canal.

We're a friendly, small family (two adults and son who is currently away at uni).. We're sociable but will give our guest the privacy they require.

The room is on the top floor of our 4-storey house, so not suitable for those who have difficulty climbing stairs.

Warning: there is another resident - our dog, Mac - big soft border collie, who isn't allowed upstairs.
