Home in The City

Mon-Fri room available in a clean and homely 3 bed flat in the City.

You would be sharing with me, my flatmate and my cat. I’m regularly away on business (usually one week every other week) and my flatmate works from home 4 days a week. We’re friendly, but quiet.

Since 2008 I’ve successfully rented out a room to a variety of people who need a nice place to shower, sleep and keep a few things while they’re in London working for a few days a week. It’s usually been married men in their 40s with a home and family elsewhere. On two occasions I’ve had people end a work contract and then contact me again 2-5 years later and return for the duration of another work contract.

The available bedroom is a small double room with a south facing window, so it has good natural light. There’s a small double bed, bedside table, double wardrobe with hanging and shelf space; a small desk, shelves and a large floor standing mirror.

It’s not en-suite but we have two toilets.

We also have a cleaner, though I still want someone clean and tidy!

It’s a great neighbourhood to live in - tucked away on a square off Leather Lane market, so it’s very quiet but close to everything. Only 10 mins walk to St Paul’s; 20 mins walk to Moorgate.

We’re also less than 5 mins walk to several transport links, inc the Elizabeth Line, trains and tubes at Farringdon, and the central line at Chancery Lane.

We have reliable and fast WiFi, but we don’t have parking, or space to store a bicycle.
