Description
Hello! I am moving to a new place in London which means I have to vacate this lovely apartment.
A bit about the current space...
The flat is situated on City Road, about a five minute walk from Old Street tube station - very convenient for commuting! Wander a further five minutes and you'll be in Shoreditch, where you can find hip bars, chic restaurants, and an abundance of Hawaiin Poke joints. The apartment was recently renovated to a very high standard. The bathrooms are beautiful, and the kitchen is very well equipped with a large oven, four induction hobs, and a dishwasher. The shared living room is a highlight - very spacious with a 62" plasma screen TV and Sonos sound system, courtesy of Shuaib (more on Shuaib later). The high ceilings throughout the flat accentuate the spaciousness; a rarity for central London properties. There is a concierge available to assist with any flat-related issues (e. g. window cleaning) and parcels can be sent to the front desk to avoid the potential agro of Amazon delivery personnel calling you in a huff halfway through your well-earned lunch break.
A bit about the current flatmates...
First up, Shuaib. Shuaib (27, M) is from Edinburgh and moved down to London a little under one year ago. He works in risk consulting at EY as a project manager. Very fancy. Shuaib is the gadget guru of the flat, and very kindly volunteered his huge TV/sound system for use in the living room. Shuaib has lots of friends and usually spends his evenings frequenting one of the many foodie-type spots that London has to offer. He usually works from home 2-3 days per week but always makes time to chat on the off chance I've popped home for lunch or something. In summary, 10/10 housemate, would happily recommend to anyone.
Next up, Lauren. Lauren (25, F) is from the Costwolds and moved to London in March of this year. Lauren is a city hot shot and works in wealth management as a communications specialist. Lauren is very keen on healthy living and fitness. Her typical evening consists of rustling up a nutritious dinner, before carting off to the local Crossfit gym for a calisthenics session. Lauren also has lots of friends and enjoys exploring the many restaurants, bars and clubs that the local area has to offer. In summary, 10/10 housemate, would happily recommend to anyone.
Well, them's the breaks.
Lauren and Shuaib are keen to meet potential flatmates in person prior to anyone moving in for obvious reasons. If you think you could be a good fit, please feel free to get in touch!
