Description
The House:
A four-story house about 3-4 minutes’ walk from Angel Tube station. It's located in a quiet mews. The house has a kitchen (with an oven, dishwasher and 1.5 refrigerators), dining room and utility room (with a washer, a dryer and a half a bathroom) on the ground floor, a living room and one bedroom on the second floor with three bedrooms making up the third and fourth floor. In total, 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The house was completely refurbished before we moved in a few years back. It is spacious and very modern.
The Neighbourhood:
There are lots of restaurants, shops and bars in the area (5 min walk to Upper Street, 10 min to Exmouth Market, 15 min Old Street) as well as three gyms within a block or two (Virgin Active, Fitness First and The Gym Group). A very large Sainsbury’s, a Waitrose and M&S nearby (6 min walk) near a VUE Cinema and Chapel Market (a local market that sells random food/goods). The canals are also a 6 min walk away with more restaurants and bars to enjoy along it. A great number of bus stops as well that can take you in all directions of London.
The Flatmates:
The three of us are in mid/late 20s and 30s. One working in tech/virtual reality, one is in mobile gaming ads, and one in healthcare investments. One from Los Angeles (west coast = best coast), one from Sweden, and one from Curacao (a tiny Dutch island in the Caribbean where people eat iguanas and stuff).
All very clean/organised (but also have a cleaner that comes once every other weekend). We are (VERY) fun, easy-going people and hangout/go out for drinks/etc. but also reliable and respectful of each other’s space.
You:
Any gender/background/etc. welcome! But hopefully, you're easy-going, clean (not militant clean, but pick up after yourself), and fun enough to be around. :) Would be great if you could include a short description of yourself in your message.
Timing/practicalities:
Move-in date would be end of Feb/early March (flexible). Viewings will be held mostly weekends (but some weeknights too). You would be on the lease agreement along with the three of us - you'd be replacing the current flatmate (who's leaving to hike for 6 months 😧). The lease ends 20 Sept 2019, but I have renewed it every year for 5 years now (landlord loves us).
