Bright Double Room in Old Street (from 1st Nov)

Hello!! I’ve got a double room sublet going in Old Street and it’s a bit of a gem. Sadly I’m moving out (after nearly 4 years!) and in with my fiancé which is great, but also a bummer since my work is only 10 minutes walk from the flat. The flat’s in a relatively new building so you get all the nice modern stuff – underfloor heating, proper insulation (warm in winter, cool in summer), and it’s super quiet even though you’re right in the middle of everything.

The room itself:
– Double bed with sneaky storage underneath
– Floor-to-ceiling window pouring in light
– Looks out onto the flat’s private paved garden/patio (yes, in Zone 1?!)
– Huge mirrored wardrobe

For the bathroom situation; You’ll only share with one flatmate (Ale; Rohan’s got an en-suite), so no awkward morning queues. Great shower, plus a bath if you’re into soaking.

The flatmates:
– Rohan (27, Sydney): super chill, works in insurance, cooks up a storm, loves making the most of London.
– Ale (36, Naples): been in London for years, works in comms at an ad agency, knows every good food and wine spot (Italian expertise), also into yoga, films, art and culture.

Both are friendly, independent, and like the occasional dinner or film night.

The shared living space is huge, the kitchen has loads of storage and a dishwasher, but the sweetest bit is the outdoor space - the flat opens directly onto a huge private outdoor space that also connects onto a large a giant communal garden. It’s honestly kind of insane for central London. If you’re into gardening you jump to the top of the list, it needs a bit of TLC.

The duller deets:
This is a sublet. Move in date - 1st Nov 2025… £1100 a month… £800 deposit

We’re after Someone easy-going, considerate, mindful about the environment (please recycle, it's 2025), not a total recluse but not a 24/7 party animal either. Just… normal and chill.
