Description
About your new flat:
Up for grabs is one double bedroom in one of the best penthouse flats in Shoreditch. Sadly, I'm leaving after a great time, my loss is your gain!
Perfect for people who work in the City, otherwise it's 5 minutes from Old Street or Shoreditch High Street stations. You're also a stone's throw from all the typical haunts: CARGO, Barrio East, Hoxton Pony, Hoxton Square (for those wings at Red Dog everyone's always going on about), Callooh Callay and Shoreditch House (if you're cool enough to get past the doormat. I'm not.). The list goes on.
The flat comes with all of the amenities: fully furnished, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, wood floors, not-wood ceilings, a cleaner who does a lovely job every week, SKY and broadband. Water too.
The crown jewel is clearly the huge private terrace: perfect for BBQ's, yoga, skittles and smoking. You've got views over Shoreditch and out to the Shard, Tower 42 etc. The pictures really don't do it justice.
Your room comes with a nice big double bed (with a bit of storage underneath), a large built-in wardrobe, two night stands and a chest of drawers.
There's a good chance this is the best flat you'll ever live in.
About the existing flatmates:
• Chris: 42, English (well, Welsh), works in advertising and enjoys a 36 yard commute to work every morning. He also has a devilishly luscious speaking voice and might record your voicemail message if you ask nicely. You'd share a bathroom with him. Fear not: I haven't caught anything in roughly 11 months.
• Andrew: 30, Australian, works in finance, has a Harley and grows a mean beard. If you want a tour of Shoreditch's finest cocktail establishments, he's your man.
About the bills:
• Roughly £180 per month (less if you don't want anything to do with the TV) so I'd budget ~£1500 all-in. If you need parking, there's a garage underground but that's extra.
• For the first month you'd need: £1315 rent, £1600 deposit (payable to me and landlord will transfer title) and £330 for credit check/contract.
About the availability:
Immediate!
Happy hunting!
