Double bedroom in Barbican

Sadly for me and luckily for you I’m moving out of my amazing apartment in Barbican, where I’ve lived for the past 5 years.

The apartment is just off the Barbican Estate and 5 minutes walk from the tube station, a large Waitrose, Nuffield gym, and tons of good cafes and restaurants. You are moments away from Farringdon station and Old street.

There are 3 rooms in the apartment. You will share a bathroom with another room. We share a living room, separate kitchen and a lovely terrace that goes all the way around the building - perfect for summer evenings. The room itself is the smallest of the 3, compact but powerful! Great orientation, heats up very quickly, it has an amazing built-in large wardrobe (stuff of my dreams), and there is plenty of storage in the apartment too.

The views, light, full height windows, and location will make it very difficult to ever want to move out!

The apartment comes furnished, there’s a bike store in the basement, and bills are ~£150 each a month including electricity, council tax, water and internet.

The landlady is very helpful, and always respond quickly to any issues we’ve had. Really lucky in that department too!

For the past 5 years we’ve made the flat feel like home. We loved celebrating summer parties in the terrace, hosting dinners, chilling in the couch together or just chilling individually in our respective rooms. One of my other flatmates is also moving out, but my other incredible Spanish flatmate (with her own en-suite) will be staying. So you get to share with a flat veteran and a newbie.

We ideally want someone who is social, clean and easygoing.

Move in date would be ideally just at the start of march, or end of feb.

The lease is due to finish in September 2025. However, in the past 5 years we haven't had any issues renewing for 1 or 2 years contracts with break clauses.
