Room in beautiful country home with huge garden

Our friend is moving to New York so we’re looking for a new house mate to move in.

Move in date is September (flexibility on this).

The tricky thing is our landlord wants to move back in to the property next year at some point, which is why the house is only listed as 6 months max. It could be that we have the house for a whole year but we can't be certain unfortunately so this may suit someone that is only looking for a shorter term let.

The 2 bedroom house we live in is beautiful and spacious; we have wooden floors throughout, huge windows with shutters, a barn style kitchen and utility area, and a really big garden which gets the sun all day. The main bathroom has a deep bath, as well as a shower and there is another toilet downstairs next to the kitchen. There is also a large basement should you need to store anything.

For transport it is a 5-10 minute walk from both Haggerston overground, as well as London Fields overground. And there’s Bethnal Green or Highbury and Islington for underground.

About us:
We’re a couple but don’t worry about smooching on the sofa or arguments - we are a very easy relaxed normal couple who just like to hang out.

I work in fashion and Christian works in advertising. He likes his art and I like my wine.

We’re quite outdoorsy and enjoy getting away at weekends. We also enjoy going out and having dinner parties at home from time to time, but try to keep it pretty calm during the week.

About you:
We’re looking for someone respectful (e. g. would prefer not to have big parties here but friends coming round are always welcome). Other than that no massive requirements for a house mate.

Bills are included so there’s no faff.
