Hello! I’m Katie and looking for a female professional (no couples I’m afraid) aged between 29 and 36 to join a two-bed flat share in the heart of Haggerston.
A little about me… I’m a Senior Account Director at a tech PR agency who’s been in London for the last eight years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and padel and try to force myself on a regular run around London Fields. At the weekend, I make the most of all the fab brunch and coffee spots in the local area. I enjoy going out for dinner and drinks with friends but equally like cosying up on the sofa watching a good film with a glass of wine.
I’ve been in the flat for the last five years and I’m looking for a likeminded housemate who is keen to create a nice sociable flat environment but who is also respectful and wants to keep the place nice and tidy.
No smokers and no pets unfortunately.
The outgoing tenant is flexible on the moving out date, but the room would be available from the end of January/ early February. The new tenancy lasts until February 12th 2027 with the possibility of renewing.
It’s a modern two bed 1.5 bath flat, split over two levels and 30 seconds from Haggerston overground station.
The available bedroom is incredibly spacious - comfortably taking a king-sized bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk and plenty of storage - plus it has its own private balcony! There is one shared bathroom, however, the other bedroom has a separate downstairs loo/sink, so plenty of loo options.
The flat is semi furnished - the bed, wardrobe and drawers are all included – but the remaining furniture, plus that in the lounge, is owned by me.
Water bills are included. Energy, Council Tax (D) and Broadband are not included and total around £200 pcm.
The flat is east facing, really bright and light, and looks across the overground towards London Fields. It's a fun area to live, with Broadway Market, Spitalfields, Liverpool street, Angel and Dalston on your doorstep.
There are lots of public transport options nearby, with easy bus routes into Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Waterloo and the city. The Overground connects directly into Whitechapel, Highbury & Islington, and Canada Water, providing quick links to the Elizabeth, Victoria, Jubilee, District, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines.
I’ll be looking to host viewings over the next couple of weeks. Depending on times, I can do weekends and some evenings after work.
