Description
Flexible SHORT-TERM LET (Dec/Jan) Minimum 2-month stay
I'm heading back to New Zealand for two months and looking to sublet my lovely flat. Perched on the 10th floor, it offers stunning views over London Fields and sits in one of East London's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Perfect for professionals or friends seeking a temporary home.
Location & Living Space:
You'll be right across from London Fields Lido (perfect for year-round heated swimming) and just a five-minute stroll from Broadway Market. Well connected to the overground, the flat itself is bright and well-proportioned, with a modern kitchen featuring all the essentials – dishwasher, washer/ dryer, and plenty of space to cook.
I currently use the second bedroom as a home office, and I'm happy to leave the desk and monitor setup if you'd find it useful for working from home. Otherwise, I can store it away to give you more space to use.
I'll pack a lot of my personal items into storage so you can make yourself properly at home during your stay; this means there’ll be limited storage space in the flat available, so please consider this if you have a lot of stuff.
Who This Would Suit:
I'm ideally looking for friends who already know each other, or couples – perhaps you're between properties or getting to know London before finding a permanent place.
Having lived here since 2018 and built a great relationship with my landlord, I'm keen to find tenants who'll take good care of the space.
Note: I am not looking for individuals looking to 'buddy up' to rent the flat
Timing & Flexibility:
The flat will be available from late November until February, though I can be flexible with exact dates. I'm happy to work around your schedule within a couple of weeks either way.
The Practical Bits:
The monthly cost is £2,500 (for the whole flat), to be paid on the 1st of each month. This covers rent and standard utility usage* – council tax, gas, electricity, water, and Sky Broadband.
*While bills are included, I just ask that you're mindful of energy usage, as excess consumption may incur additional charges. However, I can’t see this being an issue unless you leave the heating on 24/7 and constantly have the dryer in use etc.; in either case, I’ll let you know how we’re getting on.
I’ll issue you with an e-contract through DocHub to keep everything official and secure for both parties.
I ask for a £500 security deposit to be paid once the contract is signed; this will be refunded within two weeks of inspection when you move out (for any potential damages or inventory costs).
_
If you're new to the city, I can be flexible with dates as I'm freelance, and am well versed in the area having lived here for 16 years. My previous tenants used me as landlord verification for their next rentals, so additionally something to consider.
Drop me a message if you'd like to know more or to arrange a viewing!
Cheers,
Danny
