Broadway Market House Share!

Looking for a fellow queer (aged 25+) to join our queer house in Hackney. The room is available from 1st August

The room is a large unfurnished double bedroom on the first floor (option to buy bed etc. from housemate moving out). With French doors looking out onto the street.

It’s a spacious 5-person house, spread across 4 floors. The house is on Regent’s Canal, just around the corner from Broadway Market.

Rent: £840 a month (without bills). Bills come to around £140 a month, but tends to be a bit more in the winter months. Bills include a weekly cleaner.

We have lived together for two years without any changes so the house definitely has more of a homely feeling and we tend to hangout together in and outside the house from time to time. With that in mind we are looking for someone who would like to stay longer term and be part of our home, ideally extending beyond the end of our lease in October.

Of the 4 remaining housemates we are 3 males and 1 female

This is not a party house and we’re looking for someone that keeps the space clean and tidy.

UC/housing benefits: unfortunately the landlord does not accept either.

Accessibility: this is a 4-floor house with no lift so only stair access between floors. No steps to access the property. The bedroom is on the first floor (20 steps) and the kitchen and living room are on the second floor (40 steps). Bathrooms on the ground floor and second floor.
