0-5 minutes walk away
Description
Located on London Fields park. A 2 minute walk to London Fields station which gets to Liverpool St. in 15 minutes, 5 minutes from Broadway Market and less than 10 minutes to the Overground at Hackney Central Station.
It's a two bedroom flat with a living room, kitchen, two bathrooms. The bedroom itself is a double has a built in closet. There’s an outdoor balcony with loads of plants.
The communal parts of the flat are furnished including a washing machine but where possible I'm totally open to adding decoration so you feel at home. The room comes with drapes, blinds and a potentially a bed but otherwise is unfurnished.
Although right beside the park it's a pretty quiet flat because of its positioning so you get all the benefits of being in the thick of it without much of the noise.
The building is very community driven with everyone getting on very well and a nice balance between the opportunity to socialize, helping each other out and letting us all live our lives.
Also, there is an extremely friendly cat named Bhuna living in the flat. She's very gentle and once she warms up to you she may sit on your lap every chance she gets.
There is the potential to rent a parking space [£190 p/m] in the gated parking area or there is on street parking nearby.
If you're a couple looking for a room the bills would be split three ways and an additional £300 p/m added to the rent. If it is a couple I'd prefer no one working from home just to keep the space more chill.
The Roommate
Hey! I'm Josh originally from Canada I've been in the UK for a decade and this flat for the last four years. I work in marketing and when not doing that like to socialise with friends, enjoy the endless fun of London, play a bit of guitar and cook.
I'm looking for someone who sees home not so much somewhere to party but unwind and relax. The occasional dinner party or get together is totally cool but it's not the kind of place to be on a session until 4am. I like to keep the flat tidy but there is a cleaner who comes twice a month to help us stay on top of the more deep clean kind of stuff.
Because of my work two nice perks of the flat is unlimited Oatly and often free coffee! There's also Netflix and Prime on the communal tv.
Bills are currently £135 p/m and internet, electric, water, council tax, and a cleaner twice a month.
I generally work mainly from home and go to the office once or twice a week.
Please drop a message telling me the highlights about you. I'd love to know:
> What's your story (doesn't have to be a novel, just the highlights to get us started)
> What are you looking for in a living situation, for example if you're looking for a very social house, or like to only leave your room to eat or you're hyper clean or you have a partner you want to stay over 4 nights a week just anything that is an expectation of yours so we can be on the same page.
> What do you do and what is the WFH/out of home vibe
> Any hobbies or interests that make you you
> How long you want to live somewhere
> When you are looking to move in
