🏡 Room available in friendly, international flat near Broadway Market & Victoria Park
We’re a group of four (2 male, 2 female) young professionals living together in a friendly home — we’ve been here for over 4 years. One of our housemates, Saira, is moving out to live with her boyfriend, so we’re looking for someone to take her place.
We’re a sociable, tidy household that enjoys spending time together — whether it’s board games, a natter or watching TV (Indian match making and Couples Therapy are house favourites!). We also have a cleaner every two weeks to help keep the shared spaces nice.
A lot of us are into sports — running, climbing, and cycling — and we all cycle to work. The flat is close to a Cycle Superhighway, so commuting by bike is super convenient.

- Alex T, 33, British — works at KCL, into outdoorsy things, news + cinema. Always down for a late night discussion session :)
- Alex W, 32, British — engineer currently doing a Master’s in Computer Science. I am a regular at Mile End park run on Saturday mornings. Love a board game or some Traitors in the evening!
- Emily, 30, Australian — physio, enjoy doing anything outdoors particularly running. Love tucking in for a house tv show and takeaway.

A spacious, bright 3rd-floor flat just off Broadway Market. Close to Regent's Canal, London Fields, Columbia Road and Victoria Park. It has four bedrooms, a large living room, cute kitchen, a split bathroom (one room with a shower, the other with a toilet), and balcony.
🛏️ The room
The available room is the largest in the flat, located near the living room and kitchen. It is west facing and overlooks the garden, offering a lovely green view. It comes furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, and wardrobe — and it’s plenty big enough to work from home.
👀 Who we’re looking for
We’d like to keep the house mixed-gender, so we’re looking for another woman. Ideally someone social, communal, and who enjoys chilling out with the house — especially if you love a good TV night! Saira was the plant mum of the house, so if your coming with plants that’s a bonus 🌿
💰 Additional Bills (per month, split evenly)
- Cleaner: £15
- Water: £15
- Council Tax: £40 (Band C)
- Internet: £6.50
- Gas/Electric: £40
The move in date is nearly aligned to the start of a new 12month contract and the price matches that contract, which we would all need to sign prior to moving in. This would require some standard checks from our letting agent. There is also a deposit of £778.75.
