Bedroom available in 3 bedroom flat on Richmond Road. 3 minute walk to London Fields, 7 min walk to London Fields overground, 10 min walk to Broadway Market (!)
THE ROOM: Walk-in closet. Room comes unfurnished, but leaving my mattress and bedframe, both in great condition. I’m looking to sell a few pieces of furniture (rug, chest of drawers) at a low price to the new tenant too. Bedroom window is north-facing.
THE FLAT: Spacious kitchen, split shower/toilet so no interrupted bathtimes! Note that we don’t have a living room (that’s how the rent stays affordable). Queer friendly household.
Housemates are lovely – both are British, have lived in London for 5+ years, and are great craic and funny + warm people. Emma (F) is a writer and teaches local community classes across the arts, and Sam (M) is a chef and loves to read in his spare time. Both are morning workers as well so someone who’s considerate of noise levels at night would be a good fit.
AGENCY: Agency requires previous landlord references and a monthly income of 3.5 times your rent, so 3.5 x 620 = £2170 a month, or £26,040 a year. Working professionals preferred (PhD students accepted if you are receiving a stipend close to this income).
