I am subletting my amazing room in London Fields - this is such a rare gem and perfect for anyone looking for a place in the E8 postcode with easy connections to the City and Central London.

The room: Large double bed with big windows and plenty of light, plenty of space to store clothes etc.

The flat: spacious, light, modern utilities with original features (the building is a converted factory), a balcony (!!), washing machine, dishwasher.

The flatmates: Lu (F, 30) and Romy (F, 26) are honestly the best features of this flat - both work from home a few days a week so the space is respectful and quiet. They travel relatively frequently so there may be weeks/weekends where there are only 1 or 2 in the flat. We are all great friends and might spend time together after work watching a movie or TV (MAFS or Grand Designs, it depends), sometimes we socialise together on the weekends.

Public Transport:
Stations - London Fields - Overground (5 mins walk - takes you to Liverpool St in 7 mins), Hackney Central - Overground (7 mins walk), Bethnal Green - Central Line (20 mins walk) - it takes me under 40 mins to get to central London
Buses (stops across the road) - 106, 254, 55, 277, 236
Walking - you can walk to Liverpool Street in 30ish mins

Cafes/Restaurants/Bars
Cafes/Bakeries: Dangerously close to E5 bakehouse, Pophams, and Forno, Wilton Way is a 7 minute walk from us on the north side of LF, Broadway Market and all its offerings is a 7 minute walk in the other direction.
Restaurants - too many to name, seriously - if you want reccs you can ask
Bars/Pubs - the holy trinity Spurstowe Arms, Prince Arthur and Prince George within a 10 min walk, wine bars in every direction
Other - Green spaces everywhere (London Fields, Victoria Park, Hackney Downs all nearby), Hackney Picturehouse is a 5 min walk, museums, galleries, markets, pop ups, coworking spaces etc etc.

Groceries and Shopping:
We have a big Tesco and LIDL within a 10 minute walk as well as smaller grocery stores along Mare St which are just a few mins from the flat.

Gyms/Fitness:
Spoilt for choice with gyms and fitness studios within a 10 min walk (Bloodline Gym, Waking Dreams, Studio Anatomy, Tempo E8, Hotpod Yoga), or cycle 10 mins to BLOK in Clapton or Shoreditch, run clubs everywhere if that's your thing

Good to know:
We are a top floor flat and there is no lift so this is unfortunately not an accessible building. Not a "party flat" - our flat is truly a peaceful haven but we do entertain from time to time and throw the odd drinks with friends.
