Double Room in London Fields Townhouse

I’m sadly relocating abroad and looking to sublet my room in our beautiful Hackney townhouse for 6 months.

1. The House

We live in a gorgeous 5-bedroom townhouse (one room is used as a home office) with 4 bathrooms, a bright and modern living room and kitchen, and a lovely garden.

The location is hard to beat:
• 5 min walk to London Fields
• 10 min walk to Broadway Market
• Surrounded by great pubs, cafés and restaurants
• 5 min walk to both London Fields and Hackney Central stations

2. The Flatmates

You’ll be living with Alex, Tom and Kit (late 20s–30s). Alex works in accounting (the fun kind, promise). Kit and Tom both work in sales (different sectors)

Everyone has busy lives but enjoys the occasional shared dinner or drinks. Most importantly, they’re kind, respectful and genuinely lovely to live with.

Some of us are queer, so it’s important that you’re LGBTQ+ friendly. You don’t need to be queer yourself — allies are very welcome.

3. The Room & Bills

• £1,255 per month, all bills included
(electricity, heating, water, council tax + weekly cleaner)
• Deposit: £1,255

The room is spacious and fully furnished, including:

• Double ottoman bed (with storage underneath)
• Mattress
• Desk & chair
• Bedside tables & lamps
• Wardrobe and additional storage around the house

The room is on the third floor, shared with one other bedroom (Tom’s). You’ll also share a bathroom with Tom.

Contract Details

• Start date: 8 February
• End date: 5 September
• Length: 6 months

4. About You

We’re looking for someone nice, respectful and independent, with their own life going on, but open to the occasional shared meal or drink. This house has really been made into a home, so we’d love someone who will feel comfortable and treat it with care.
