Spacious ground-floor flat with private garden

Hello! We're looking for a flatmate to join us in a beautiful, century-old flat in Hackney Central.

One of us is a British-Canadian PhD student who studies contemporary art and urbanism in China; the other is a French-Italian journalist passionate about dance. The flat is tidy and quiet, and both of us travel often, but when we get a chance we will cook or have a few drinks around the kitchen table or in the garden.

The flat is close to Broadway Market, London Fields, Wilton Way, and Mare Street. It's also extremely close to Hackney Central/Hackney Downs station.

It's a period building with sash windows, high ceilings, and a red-brick exterior. The flat has a lovely, private south-facing garden with table, chairs, and a charcoal barbecue. There is also a larger garden area shared with the neighbours.

The flat has a bright and spacious lounge with hardwood floor, a large sofa, a new LCD TV (which never seems to get watched), and lots of plants.

It also has a large kitchen with a table for six, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a full-height fridge, a microwave, and a gas hob.

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, and a hanging clothesrail and a cool built-in desk both installed by our designer friend.

The bathroom is fully-fitted with a shower over a full-sized bath, with excellent water pressure and hot water on demand.
