We are three professionals in our 30’s looking for a new housemate to share our home (and garden!) and replace our old housemate Raf in the joint tenancy. We are: Vanessa (from England - Art Director), Kitty (from England - art writer and curator) and Pierre (from Belgium - Experiential Designer).

The room available is a large, bright double room. It comes furnished with a king bed and mattress, chest of drawers and shelves. The house itself is very bright and spacious over three storeys, with a large shared living room; kitchen; two bathrooms (one large with separate shower and bath, and one shower room) and a spacious garden with furniture, veggie boxes, bbq and ping pong table!

We are looking for:

* A friendly and respectful working professional in their 30’s - we are all currently working weekdays and prefer someone who is of a similar age and lifestyle.

* Sociable: while living our own thirty-something lives, we do like a nice friendly homely atmosphere in the house: chat in the kitchen while cooking or watch tv together in the lounge, sometimes share a dinner, watch a movie, go to the pub, have a bbq in the garden. We hope you will feel like this is your home too!


* Clean, tidy with our communal spaces, happy with pitching in with shared house duties like buying loo roll, tidying the garden or replacing light bulbs! Our tenancy means we are all responsible for these things together, as well as organizing shared household bills.

About the house and the area (it’s the best location):

At the far corner of Canonbury right near Shoreditch Park & the Regents Canal, with transport links in every direction: Old street/Angel tube and Essex Road/Haggerston overground stations 10-15 mins walk. Highbury & Islington is 20 mins walk and various bus routes into the City/West-End/London Bridge are right on our doorstep. 



Angel, De Beauvoir, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Highbury & Dalston all within walking distance to keep you entertained with shops nearby, great local pubs, parks, restaurants, cinemas.


About the Tenancy, Rent, Bills etc:

* House is rented from a private landlord on a new 12 month joint tenancy contract that we will start again with you! (6 month minimum stay). Our landlord will need employment & previous landlord references from you.

* Room is £793 per month (rent paid on the 15th of the month individually to the landlord)

* Bills are about £170 p/m (energy, water, council tax, internet, tv license, weekly cleaner for communal spaces, shared house supplies etc) We all take responsibility for a bill and use Splitwise to sort out paying each other.

* Deposit is £800 (5 weeks) paid with 1st month's rent before moving in.

* Move-in date: end of July but can be flexible by a week or two if needed
