Hello! I have a large double room available now to let to a single person.

Rent is £1000pcm, (bills are included) - I am open to reducing the rent if you wanted to do Mon-Fri, or a part time let.

About the property: 2-bed, ground floor flat in a classic London Victorian conversion, super safe area, quiet street, small garden (not shared!), bathroom with window AND bath tub, kitchen/living area, gas central heating, excellent water pressure, fast broadband, good transport links (Stoke Newington overground is 5mins walk, Clapton overground is 15mins walk).

About the room: it's a good-sized double, part-furnished with double bed, mattress (18-months old), chest of drawers, wall-mounted shelves. (pics and video are from when my previous flatmate lived here - but shows the room's potential.)

About me: Originally from Scotland, I've been in London for 10 years. I am a media relations professional who mainly works from home. My job can be quite hectic - i have to do early and late shifts, and the occasional on-call week - so I really value a calm environment, and a clean and tidy living space.

I love the arts, a bit of nature, good food and wine, saunas, live music at Cafe Oto, festivals (Houghton, Worldwide).

About you: I would like to live with someone who's friendly and sociable - who's up for having the occasional dinner and watching a film or some trashy tv of an evening. I'm open to people of all ages, my previous flatmate was a 27 year old guy and we got on famously.

I have a more-the-merrier mindset and like the house to feel warm, friendly and full of laughter - I'd love for you to pull up a chair if I've got pals over for dinner.

I know the importance of ensuring we both have space and alone time in the flat.
