Hello :)

Still accepting interest (male only please) with a view to meeting this week/weekend and hopefully making a happy house!

I'm leaving my lovely room and housemates after 2 years because of an opportunity to live with my best mate, which is too good to pass up! We'd all just just signed for another year starting early June and all very happy in the house.

The room will be available from July 2nd. References will be required by the managing agent.

The current housemates (Rosie and Steph say hey), are friendly, liberal, considerate, clean and are looking for full time working professional to join who would fit in with the above. They have both lived together for 4 years and get on really well, so hoping to find someone to join the clan to make the house their home too. Ideally, you have a mix of your own thing going on, but equally would be up for the occasional drink, meal, night out and series watch with the house. Pretty low key and chill during the week and like to keep things relaxed - a place to unwind and feel calm, but always up to something fun on the weekend and like to let their hair down every now and then!

Rosie is a freelance Assistant Director in the TV & Advertisement world and also loves yoga and house music! Steph works in Customer Success in the corporate world and is writing a fantasy novel and loves a chat about sciency stuff and current affairs. Both really fun to be around!

The room available is the master bedroom, approx. 380 x 470cm and is £1,000 a month (bills are approx. £150 a month). It’s a huge, bright space with a huge built in wardrobe. It was originally unfurnished but the bed frame and mattress will be left (from the previous tenant). The bay window is big enough to fit a two person sofa. It also benefits from newly installed double glazing. North facing and gets early morning and evening sun. It's a really great room!

Bills include: Council tax, gas & electric, internet, fortnightly cleaner for the communal area, water. TV license is paid off in one go annually between the housemates.

The house is split over two floors and has wooden flooring, bay windows, a large communal living room, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms. There is a loft and a basement, so plenty of storage space. There’s a sunny south facing patio garden and the whole house has lots of natural light.

The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. We're only a short walk away from Dalston Kingsland, and a short walk to the beautiful Newington Green, Stoke Newington or Hackney Downs. We have loads of 24 hour local shops, cafes restaurants, music venues, pubs and shops nearby!
