Double Room in Animal Frendly Family House

We have a Double Room, in a 5 story Victorian Family House

The room is on the First Floor at the back of the house.

To stop loss of internet connections, we have two interned providers and have installed Ethernet connection ports in all the rooms.

You would be sharing with my family and other lodgers. Everyone is friendly, but tend to relax in their rooms due to work commitments and working odd hours,

The kitchen tends to be the social hub of the house It has a large range style cooker, Fridges, freezers, a decent size dining table, and is pretty will equip, but there is no dish washer, so you will have to be prepared to do your own washing up. We have a policy of clean everything soon after use as otherwise the entire kitchen would end up a complete mess.

There is a utility room with washing machine and dryer, large sink with some drying space above.

There is one bathroom including + toilet, two separate toilets and a separate shower room.

We have no back garden, but there is a small front garden, more of a yard,, where I try to grow things but fail miserable, however in the summer it is nice to sit on the front step with a drink, and you can fairly easily forget that it is the front of the house.

The house is in a restricted parking zone, so if you have a car, parking could be a problem. There is a little room for bikes in the hallway, but if you had one, it would have to be placed carefully so as not to cause obstruction.

We have cats, a large dog who still thinks that he is a puppy, and some other pets,, so it would be better you had lived with pets before, particularly cats, as if you haven't, you will find that they can cause havoc and do so whenever the opportunity arises.

You will also need to be fairly easy going about mess and noise sometimes, as the house is a work in progress, in other words, there is a lot of "small building work" ie sanding of wood, decorating etc that is gradually being done and though I try to keep any dust, mess and noise to a minimum, sometimes it is not possible.

The house also would probably not suit if you are a light sleeper, as people work all different hours and sometimes leave or come home from work in the early hours of the morning, (1am onwards) and the stairs run up through the centre of the house.

Last thing, If you are over 6'2" or have any problem with stairs, then the property is probably not suitable for you, as the kitchen and the first flight of stairs do not have a lot of head room and the kitchen is in the basement, while the main bathroom and shower room are on the 2nd floor.

Languages spoken are English, Cantonese and Spanish along with a little bit of French

The room contains a double sofa bed because some loggers like to be able to have more floor space at times, however if need be it could be changed for a fixed frame double. The only difference between the pictures and the room now, is that we have just installed a central heating system, so the wall mounted heater has been replaced with a radiator

Rent includes all services, but excludes a TV licence, which you would have to provide yourself.

The rooms is single person lets, however if any additional person wanted to stay for a period of longer than 3 days, an additional charge of £ 60.00 per week would be levied

We are looking for someone who is fairly sensible in their outlook, who likes and is able to deal with living with pets and has respect for other people in the house and the house itself.
