Description
We have a large, double bedroom available from 1 April, in a lovely, spacious three bed, Victorian converted flat, close to Clissold Park and Church Street, Stoke Newington, sharing with two people, Rach and Joe.
Here's all you need to know:
The place
Your new home is generously sized, split over 3 levels and features:
* 3 double bedrooms – the room available is on the middle floor.
* 2 bathrooms – you'll share one of these with just one of us.
* Shared, light-filled lounge/dining room, with sash windows and a high ceiling
* Bright kitchen with new gas cooker, oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer
* Furnished
The room
Your room is a spacious, bright, double room at the back of the house, overlooking trees and gardens, also with high ceilings and sash windows.
It’s partially furnished – there's a double bed in there and drawers.
The location
* Our home is located just of Church Street, Stoke Newington with loads of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops on your doorstep.
* The road has a nice community vibe, with lovely neighbours.
Clissold Park is a two-minute walk away, near to the ponds and tennis courts
*14 mins walk to Stoke Newington overground station – 25 mins to Canonbury.
*18 mins walk to Manor House (Piccadilly line) or 25 mins walk to Finsbury Park. Or jump on the 106 bus to get there quicker.
The people
You’ll be living with Rach, 44 and Joe, 35. We work in marketing/creative industries, a mix of at home and in the office.
We’re friendly, sociable and want to have a lovely, connected home environment but while still respecting each other’s space. We like to make the most of the local pubs, restaurants and cafes and also, the tennis courts, park, running trails and outdoor swimming reservoir on our doorstep.
We both love the area and our lovely house and are looking for a professional/employed person, who is looking for a place to also call this home.
Ideally, someone fun, social but considerate, respectful of noise and clean and tidy.
The specifics
*Rent is £1000 pcm and payable direct to the landlord on the 1st of each month.
*Deposit will be placed into the renters deposit scheme via the landlady's estate agent
*Bills are excluded and usually come to around £160-180pcm, including cleans.
*Our landlady's lovely, lives in the below flat with her daughter and dog Woody who we often take for walks (and can be spotted in one of the pics)
*Professional reference checks will need to be carried out and provided.
Please do get in touch if you have any more queries.
Thanks
