Description
The property:
Furnished double in room in top floor flat of a converted Victorian town house (with an outdoor terrace!).
The room is £900 per month (excluding bills). Council Tax band C. The flat is furnished and has a large living room, spacious kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor terrace. It has access to a shared garden on the ground floor.
The neighbourhood:
A 5 minute walk from Rectory Road Station and a 5-6 minute walk to Clapton Station. It is 10 minutes to Stoke Newington High Street and Abney Park. The street is quiet and most residents are families.
There are lots of amazing restaurants, bars, cafes and shops within walking distance. More green space is found at Hackney Marshes (a personal favourite!), which is a 20 minute walk.
The current flatmate:
That's me! I'm Cameron, a 28 year old PhD student studying History. I'm easy going, social , and value tidiness. I enjoy reading, running, sports, going to the pub, the cinema and travel. I prefer not to wfh and only do so very occasionally.
What I'm looking for:
Someone of a similar age who is friendly and tidy. I'm up for spending time together in the evenings and on weekends but also respect the need for quiet and peace.
The landlord:
Is my dad, so has both a legal and paternal duty to make sure our living space is habitable. He is very responsive and generally relaxed about making changes to the room/flat (new furniture, hanging posters/painting etc.)
Please tell me a little about yourself in your message and feel free to ask any question!
