Description
Professional non-smoker wanted for flatshare in a charming Stamford Hill.
SHORT SUMMARY:
Spacious furnished double room in the Victorian house (attic conversion) flat in a safe Stamford Hill, 10mins walk from Church St. (Stoke Newington) - Loads of light, warm, sunny side of the house with a great skyline view. Newly refurbished. The room is offered to a professional.
IMPORTANT: Single occupancy only. This is a non-smoking household. As the flat is a registered business address and my place of work, I require a housemate who is a settled professional.
- Available March 2026 for 850pcm (+ £850 one month deposit) payable in advance. Price includes utilities costs, (water, electricity) Wi-Fi, and council tax share.
INFO:
Please note the flat has NO living room, and I'm the only other tenant living in. The kitchen and the bathroom is shared. The room at the moment is offered furnished.
Size: 3.8 x 3 metres. There's plenty of space for the shelves, working desk etc. You're free to shuffle furniture around. (see the images and the video) The flatmate that is currently in has organised the room differently.
THE FLATMATE/LODGER:
Ideally, someone clean and considerate; reasonably sociable. It would be nice to share the flat with someone who isn't averse to a chat over a glass of wine, every now and then :) However, I do work quite a lot, and I am away every month or so for 2-3 weeks. When at home, I either on my computer (headphones on) or on site, so the prospective flatmate will naturally have plenty of peace and quiet as well as privacy. He or she must also be considerate of my neighbours. In other words, the room/flat will unfortunately not be suitable for a party animal with a hectic social life. Therefore, the flatshare would suit someone who's a sociable person with understanding of privacy.
ABOUT ME:
Established artist, audiovisual producer, marketing strategist and short film festival organiser and researcher. Dual Croatian/British citizen.
I'm pretty easy-going in general, I like all the usual stuff, which I won't list here :) In short: into independent cinema, art, music. I often visit live gigs and stuff. I also love to read and expand my knowledge and I'm generally interested in human condition. I've been living in the property for quite a while and I really love it here.
ADDITIONAL INFO
ABOUT THE AREA:
Stamford Hill/ Stoke Newington has been on the up for the last few years and now the Church Street (10mins walk) has plenty of few new funky bars, cafes and restaurant. There are also plenty of supermarkets, both large and small. It is very safe, probably the safest area in London based on my experience. There's plenty of green spaces. River Lea is 15mins walk towards the East and the Clissold park is roughly the same distance on the West.
TRANSPORT:
For getting around there is a huge choice of transport: 2 train stations within a 10 minute walk. Both of these go to Liverpool Street. There are also lots of bus routes, many of them 24 hours, and if you really need the tube, two underground stations are 15-20 mins away - Manor House (Piccadilly) and Seven Sisters (Victoria Line).
Lastly, I'd kindly appreciate if you could say a few things about yourself, perhaps include a link to your page/website/social network, picture etc so we both shorten the time necessary to introduce ourselves. Hope that's fine and not overly intrusive. Thank you! :-)
