Friendly Houseshare in Turnpike Lane

The house looking for a new housemates to take on my room in our house. The house has 3 floors, (top floor is the attic bedroom where one tenant resisdes) the middle floor, has an office/laundry room/spare room, then 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom to share for that floor. The ground floor holds, 1 bedroom & bathroom (that’s my room- the available one!), shared living room, kitchen and a very good sized garden!

We have just had a new kitchen installed!

The remaining tenants work full time & have busy jobs and social lives, so tend not to be around that much, but when we are home usually happy to have a chat or a sit down when making dinner! But also we like to have our downtime.

The room available is suitable to be used as a bedroom, and comes with a bed & storage space I. e/cupboard/wardrobe.
You are welcome to bring what you need or contact landlady about what else is needed.

We have a strong relationship with the landlady & as such some of us have lived in the house for 10 years!

The garden has fruit trees!

We are a 5-10 min walk to Turnpike Lane tube, close to many buses, 20’mins from Seven Sisters station, and close to Bruce grove or Haringey Green lanes overground. Hornsey is also close by.

Turnpike Lane is a good northern hub to reach Wood Green, Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Finsbury Park, Manor House etc. and plenty of connections to central.
We have 2 neighbouring parks, and local supermarkets & Wood Green High street close by.

We are looking for someone fun and sociable (but not too sociable I. e no wild party’s every weekend) to join our house! As I said, we’re not there a lot and when we are it’s nice to have the place to use for downtime! We usually host a Christmas or Halloween party every year, and aren’t opposed to a household barbecue in the summer! As long as you are clean and respectable we are more than happy to welcome you!
The current tenants work in the arts, so creatives are welcome!

Rent is due at the beginning/end of each month (check with landlady for full amount & deposit but £565 p/m & £712.50 deposit.)
Bills are split equally across the house:
Internet
Council tax
Water
Gas
Electricity

We also have a gardener which is covered by the landlady.

Must be agreeable to dogs & cats we regularly look after dogs & we often welcome the neighbourhood cats in for a treat.
