Double room for 1 male

Hi! Looking for a quiet and considerate male housemate OVER THE AGE OF 34 to share the house with, someone who has a day job and does NOT work from home.

We would be very happy to have someone who is VERY clean and tidy. This is absolutely essential. Even though there is a cleaner who comes weekly for the communal areas, we’re looking for someone who keeps the place clean regardless of this (the cleaner does more of a deep clean). To us, this means someone who cleans as they go....who has daily habits such as wiping down the bathroom & kitchen surfaces/cooker after using them, does the dishes soon after cooking/eating and clears dishes from the dish rack after washing. Someone who is fussy about toilet hygiene (and checks the toilet before they leave the bathroom! 😆) and has a generally good level of cleanliness! And someone who doesn’t mind sharing tasks such as taking the recycling and rubbish out. Apologies for that huge mouthful but a clean and tidy place makes a much more peaceful living environment.

Looking for someone who is easy-going and open-minded, but also who completely understands the need for privacy, personal time and space.

Oh, and I love cats and sometimes cat-sit for my friend…so you must be ok with cats! 😺

Your room: it’s a lovely size and is on the ground floor so gives a bit more privacy being away from the bedrooms on the first floor.

The area: there are two coffee shops/cafés at the end of the road, a nice clean off-license and other shops a short walk away. There is a big Tesco 10/15 minute walk away. Also, a massive Superdrug on the high street with every type of toiletry you could dream of! 😁 There are two very nice parks adjacent to each other a 5 minute jog away - Downhills Park and Lordship Recreational Grounds (with cafes, pond, ducks, swans, squirrels!!!).
