Double room in shared home with garden

I live in Spain and come to London from time to time... I have a lovely housemate, Elena, and we are looking for someone to join our home.

The house is a beautiful Victorian mid-terrace house with garden set in a quiet, tree-lined, no-through road. Period features and floorboards throughout. Gay friendly.

The bedroom for rent is at the back of the house on the first floor. It is a large double overlooking the garden, with a Victorian fireplace and furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

This is our home and we value our privacy and space but we also really appreciate sharing a meal and a glass of wine. Looking for someone easy going, friendly, considerate and professional.

Bills are included in the rent (Council Tax, Water, Green Gas & Electricity, TV Licence).

The garden is a sun trap and feels private thanks to the palm trees, bamboo and a cherry tree. It's partly decked and has a small patio, raised beds and a lawn. We share responsibility for cutting the grass, hedge, watering plants and generally keeping the garden in order..

There's also a really lovely park just 2 minutes walk from the house perfect for a quiet stroll or for running/fitness. There are free tennis and basketball courts, a playing field, a woodland area, formal gardens and an excellent cafe.

It takes 15 minutes to walk to the underground from the house or 2 minutes by bus. You have the choice of two stations - Seven Sisters station (Victoria line) or Turnpike Lane station (Piccadilly line).

Heathrow Airport - 90 minutes direct via the Piccadilly line
Stansted Airport - 60 minutes from Tottenham Hale station
Eurostar - 12 minutes by underground from Seven Sisters

Central London / Covent Garden / West End - 20 minutes by underground
Green Lanes restaurants, bars and cafes - 15 minutes walk
Alexandra Palace - 20 minutes by bus

On-street parking is available for residents.
