Description
Hi, I'm Ben and I live with my cat, Dave. We have a room available in our two bed garden flat in Crouch End and are looking for a peaceful, calm and considerate person to join us.
Home is a settling space for me, and I would like to share my space with someone who feels similarly. I have enjoyed my 20's and 30's and am now much happier having a peaceful night in, watching an interesting documentary over good food, or listening to music and relaxing, while engaging in interesting conversation with someone likeminded.
The flat is a very open and peaceful space, with little noise and few passing people. Situated on the ground floor, you open to the hallway which leads to a very large kitchen, dining and living space. With high ceilings and large windows, there is plenty of space and light. The back of the home boats two good sized doubles, both of which open on to the private garden. Your room, the larger of the two, is unfurnished, but has two built in wardrobes and chest of drawers. You can fit a double bed, plus a desk, comfortably in to the space. The bathroom is a good size with a bath and a well pressured shower.
The front room has lots of space, with a huge loaf sofa, armchair and a second small sofa that Dave sleeps on. I have sky sports, Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus and Discovery Plus set up, and I enjoy watching cycling and football, but not all of time. I also enjoy watching documentaries on politics, economics and current and historical affairs.
I work from home on Monday, Tuesday and Friday and run a grief charity. My work is in in mental health, bereavement and suicide prevention, so I'd like to live with someone who feels comfortable with giving me space if I ask for it, and vice versa.
I would love to find someone who wants to make a home and who respects our space. I am very clean and tidy and would want you to be aa well, I’m also open to a cleaner. And someone who is happy to live with Dave, and take care of him if I am away. He is a sweet boy and a little anxious, but if you like cats then he will no doubt like you.
The rent is £975 pcm and the bills are (full amount so you pay half) -
Council tax - £183
Energy - £80 (fixed but can be flexible)
Water - £35
My work covers the internet and the tv is my subscription and I don't expect people to cover it.
The room will be available from July/August but dates are flexible.
