Description

Hello! We are Anna and Saf and we are looking for a new housemate to share our 3 bed 1.5 bath flat in N19. We have been friends since sixth form but this is our first time living together, our friends are moving out so we are looking for someone fun and social, who is also clean and respectful of shared spaces. The previous housemates have been here for 2 years but are taking most of the decor so this is great opportunity to make a house a home!

Contract start date is 26th January but please still contact as there may be opportunity to move in slightly earlier/later. The deposit is around £900. We are looking for someone to sign on to the renting lease, so no short term lets.

We're really looking for women/nbs preferrably ! LGBT and vegan friendly!

The rent is £850pm and bills including council tax (property is Council tax band D) come to around £100 pm, please be aware that the rent is staggered to be fair as the rooms are all different sizes. The room pictured is the biggest room and will include a wardrobe, bed and bedside table. The brown chest of drawers next to the bed might be staying if the new tennat wants it.

We have a large separate kitchen (with dishwasher) and living room with loads of natural light, toilet and garden on the ground floor, and then the bedrooms and bathroom with shower are on the first floor. There are also storage cupboards on both floors so theres lots of places to put extra things.

About us:

I’m Saf im 26 and I’ve been living in the flat for 6 months. I work in film, specifically in marketing and distribution. I’ve only lived in London for 6 months so I’m still exploring and finding new stuff to do! I love going to the cinema, having a boogie and finding cheap Guinness! I’m a very social person and love to cook, watch movies etc together when home, but I also do like to just chill in my room, and respect alone time.

I'm Anna, and I'm studying part time for a sustainability masters and working part time at a music/climate charity doing admin and comms.
Outside work I love music - gigs, listening to it, playing a little - and being in green & blue spaces, I enjoy the odd film/museum/gallery, seeing friends of course, a teeny bit of roller skating, and I do a little activism but nothing legally spicy!
I like a relatively social household and will often be in the communal space if I'm home and not working, but have also lived mostly in houses where we're all pretty busy so I don't expect to be around each other all the time. I'm quite a chill person and happy with open and honest (and kind) conversation about how we live together to make everyone comfortable in the house.

About the location: the flat is located 15 minutes away from Finsbury Park station and about 15 minutes from Archway. The number 91 bus stops very close to our house which is also very handy. There’s loads of lovely pubs and coffee shops nearby and we are close to both Stroud Green Road and Holloway Road.

Please reach out with any questions or to arrange a call or viewing!
