Great room near Archway tube

I can offer a calm and well equipped room in a comfy bright home with views across London. Located near shops, Zone 2 Archway tube, in a friendly neighborhood.

Useful things to flag upfront:
1) The room is currently available for part or all of the period mid-July to mid-September.
2) This is a room in someone's permanent home, NOT a bedsit (totally separate) or flat-share (totally shared).

The maisonette is on different levels, which creates a sense of space and privacy. The room has a good double bed, desk, wardrobe, drawers & storage, mirror, shelves and other touches. Also included: bedding, sheets, towels, regular cleaning. The stated rent covers all bills.

The kitchen, bathroom and WC are shared. Both K and B offer some personal storage and the bedroom holds a reasonable amount of stuff, but it would not suit someone with their own furniture and/or large amount of possessions.

The home is shared with the owner (writer and academic) and one other (professional) lodger. As owner, I look after all repairs, maintenance and admin. The atmosphere is friendly but we all get on with our own lives, and the room suits someone who puts comfort and quiet as their priority rather than a hot social life. Perhaps you are a postgrad/mature student or a working professional, looking for a calm, no-hassle home base.

Street parking is not a problem: there is a CPZ but residents can buy an annual resident's permit or vouchers for occasional use/visitors.

I ask for one month's deposit and one month in advance, plus references. (For shorter stays, we can discuss arrangements)
