The flat is recently refurbished, high-spec and comprises two bedrooms. Located on the second (top) floor of a block of 12 apartments, the flat features a huge, spacious living/dining room, a large kitchen with all white goods included, a shower room with toilet, a second separate toilet, and a south-facing balcony that gets all-day sun in the summer-when the suns out! :)
The room comes with a bed, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. The flat is fully furnished, though we can discuss if you have your own large items of furniture if you'd like to bring anything along.
Bills, Council Tax & Rent: Your share of the split bills (split 50:50), including gas, electricity, water, council tax, and high-speed broadband, would come to £144 a month. The rent for the room is £865.
Transport Links: There are excellent transport links nearby, which can get you into central London in 40-45 mins including:

Northern Line: Totteridge & Whetstone - 0.8 miles (10 mins by bus or 18 mins walking)
Piccadilly Line: Arnos Grove - 1.5 miles (15 mins by bus)
Rail:
Oakleigh Park Rail Station - 0.6 miles (15 mins walking) with fast trains to Moorgate in 29 mins
Buses:
Several local buses within a 2-5 minute walk, including 125, 251, 34, and 382
We also have ampl off-street parking if you have a car.
The flat is located in a close, its safe, peaceful and quiet although, with the great transport links, you arent far away from the hustle and bustle of central London if you want it.

There is a Tesco Express a 5-minute walk away, and larger supermarkets are a short walk, bus journey or drive away. Totteridge High Street has several excellent restaurants and all the usual high street chains are available.
There are various sports and activity clubs nearby if you're interested including tennis/squash, a swimming pool, various gyms, running clubs, martial arts, dance classes etc and a whole host of beautiful parks are a short walk away.
About Current Flatmate: I have lived in this flat for two and a half years and absolutely love it and the area. My current flat mate is moving for work. Our landlord is fantastic, and the neighbors are friendly.
My background is I was born in South Africa and spent my childhood there, I've lived in the UK for over 20 years, and almost all that time (except for Uni) has been spent living in London, so it feels like my home.
I love reading, learning, cooking, exploring the world, 40 countries visited so far ;) and experiencing what life has to offer.
I currently work as a senior IT project manager for the NHS, with a couple of days working from home each week. Ive got degrees in Biomedical Science and Marine Biology and have a keen interest in data science as well as all things tech related. I am friendly, tidy, and easy to get along with.
