Description
**About the flat 🌈**
The room is available from the 14th January 2026.
We’re looking for an LGBT+ person, ideally a womxn, to join our home. Please only message if you identify as queer! Our current housemate has just bought a flat and so we’ve got a double room available in our relaxed first floor, 3-bed flat, right next to Clissold Park 🌿.
The room:
£570 per month (bills not included)
Deposit - £790
Part-furnished (bed included)
Photos are slightly outdated - will update new photos by 31 Dec once back from Christmas break.
The location:
Right by and overlooking Clissold Park
10 min walk to Arsenal (Piccadilly)
15 min walk to Finsbury Park (Victoria/Piccadilly/Overground/ National Rail)
15 min walk to Canonbury Station (Overground)
Bus stop on the doorstep
The flat:
The bathroom is modern with a bath, shower and separate toilet. There is a balcony overlooking the park and shared living room & dining area, as well as a separate shared kitchen. There are communal gardens for residents to use as well.
The landlord:
We have a private landlord, so there are no hidden fees etc. All bills are paid separately.
About us:
Poppy (she/her) - I work in tech, in the office most days from Feb. I run/climb/gym and cook in my spare time, and enjoy trying out new restaurants and going to gigs.
Sinéad (she/her) - I work as a trainer in Learning & Development and work from the office 4 days a week, besides my precious Fridays WFH! I love going to the theatre, exhibitions, comedy, saunas, gigs, the occasional rave (daytime the older I get!), and exploring new restaurants with friends.
This is a chill, non-party household. We’re hoping to find someone friendly, tidy, and keen to live in a calm, welcoming space. We’ve both lived in London for a several years so have our own social circles but would also like to live with someone who fits in socially with the house.
We each have responsibilities in the house for different bills and have a cleaning rota, where each person takes a turn to clean the flat each week and we all help out with the occasional odd job and maintenance. The flat is quite small overall and so would suit someone who works mainly from the office or occasional WFH days. No couples or pets - sorry!
We would love someone that wants a place to call home!
Viewings:
We’re planning on doing most of the viewings on 3rd/4th Jan (if this doesn’t work, please do reach out anyway and we can arrange another date).
**About you**
Please only reply if you identify as queer! We get hundreds of messages so to help us in the selection process and if you are interested, please tell us a bit about yourself, your work schedule and what type of place you're looking for.
Thanks and looking forward to meeting you.
