Description

Hello future housemate!

We're looking for someone to move into our home as one of us is sadly leaving (as he’s moving away from London).

The remaining trio are Will (he/him), a 32 year old Brit, Pepi (she/her), a 33 year old Spaniard, and David (he/him), a 30 year old Colombian. Will's a policy advisor in the civil service who enjoys going to gigs/electro, rock climbing, cycling, cooking and drinks with friends. Pepi’s a postdoc researcher at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine who enjoys basketball, cycling and many other outdoors activities. David works in market research, enjoys skating, climbing and simply talking and having a pint or going to a gig.

We try and maintain a more collaborative home and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere - we have friends over from time to time and may e. g. use the living room as a spare room if a friend’s visiting. We tend to include others if we're hosting something. We're looking for someone who's looking for a bit more of a sociable home, who keeps things clean and tidy, and is interested in taking care of the place and sticking around for the forseeable future :)

It would be great to hear from you about yourself and what you like to spend your time doing!

The house:
The house is on a quiet street and has parks nearby, including Finsbury Park. It's close to good pubs for live music and is about a 20 min walk to West Reservoir and the Castle Climbing Centre. There are also good restaurants nearby, including many Turkish ones.

The house has two stories, with a living room and an amazing kitchen/diner pass-through window to the garden. There's also two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bath/shower tub).

The room for rent:
It is on the first floor and has views to the garden and has plenty of light. The room is furnished including a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a small night desk, a full body mirror and a double bed.

Our home has good transport connections:
Harringay Green Lanes overground station (for the famous Suffragette line, 5 mins walk)
Manor House underground (Piccadilly line, 10-15 mins walk)
Harringay station (trains to Moorgate, 8 mins walk)
Plenty of buses 5 mins away
There are also a couple of cycleways nearby that take you into central London
On-street parking is available with a permit

Bills come to around 130/month (internet, gas/energy, water and council tax).

The room is available on July 14th and we are open to both short and long-term lets (please say if you're interested in a short or a long-term let).

We look forward to hearing from you!

Pepi, Will and David x
