Description

Hello, my name's Louise and I'm looking to rent out the spare room in my Harringay flat.

About the flat
It's a flat conversion in an old sewing factory and it was only refurbished a few years ago so everything is really new and works well. It’s got great transport links and is a short walk to Harringay Green Lanes, Harringay rail, (8 minutes) and is pretty much directly inbetween both Manor House and Turnpike Lane tube stations (15 minute walk to each)

There's a kitchen / living room, bathroom (with both shower & bath) and a double bedroom for my new flatmate. The room is newly furnished with a chest of drawers, ottoman double bed (so lots of under bed storage), and a wardrobe. The room is lovely and bright and backs out onto the courtyard of the mews which is south facing so gets plenty of sun and is also gated.

We have communal seating areas in the mews and all 7 flats who share the courtyard are pretty sociable in the summer months - whoever’s around occasionally shares a drink outside on the warmer weekend afternoons and the neighbours have a great sense of community.

About the area
Harringay is a great place to live. The flat is super close to a really nice pub called the Harringay Arms, loads of decent places to eat and there’s a brilliant sushi restaurant/ cocktail bar on your doorstep; and good places for brunch. Finsbury Park and Alexandra palace are really close by which have lots of activities happening throughout the Summer. Crouch End is a 30 minute walk away (or 1 tube stop on the overground) with heaps of restaurants, bars, and stuff happening, as well as an outdoor lido etc. In the other direction, Stoke Newington and Highbury are all super close by foot / train / bike / bus / uber.

About me
I'm 40 and work styling people for tv. I love to keep busy, go swimming and to the gym as well as seeing my friends; generally getting out and about.

Who I'm looking for
Someone friendly, clean and tidy. The flat is a welcoming and peaceful space so am looking for someone to share with who will treat the flat with care and as their home. I’m out a lot with early starts and late finishes so my flatmate would have time themself, but I’m up for sharing the occasional glass of wine and dinner of an evening. The flat would suit someone who has a lot going on too - preferably not wfh; so that we can both enjoy the space on our days off.

If you're interested then send me a message and a little bit about you. Ideally the person moving in wouldn’t have shed loads of stuff. The kitchen isn't massive, the bedroom is a decent size - but not huge.

Hope to hear from you!
