Modern Double Room in North London (Zone 2)

Hi! 😊 I’m looking for someone to take over my room from 9th May in a really lovely flat in Woodberry Down (Piccadilly line, Zone 2). I can be slightly flexible on the move in date, so DM even if it’s not an exact fit!

Honestly, it’s been one of my favourite places to live — the flat is modern in a new-build, spacious, and with a beautiful terrace overlooking a reservoir (you can even swim there in summer!). The building is very secure and has a 24/7 concierge, bike storage, parking and everything you need (shops, post office, cafes, etc.) is just around the corner. It’s also right by Stoke Newington which is perfect for walks and cute cafés.

The location is also super well connected — it’s a 5 minute walk to Manor House (Piccadilly line), from which you can easily switch to the Victoria line at Finsbury Park if needed, so most places are within ~30 minutes.

There are two bathrooms in the flat — as one of the bedrooms is en-suite, you would be sharing the bathroom with just one other person, which we have never had problems doing. The property is equipped with all modern appliances needed for a comfortable life, including a good washing machine, dishwasher, and underfloor heating.

You’d be living with two young professionals (one girl, one guy, aged 25-26) who are genuinely lovely — clean, respectful, and easy to live with.

Rent is £1215 and bills are quite reasonable (~£170 on average Oct-Mar, likely lower in summer) thanks to the good energy rating.

The current contract runs until the end of September, with the possibility to renew after that. You would be officially listed as a tenant in the contract and have direct contact with the agency, in line with renting laws. I would also cover the tenant change fee.
