Garden-Facing Room in Friendly House Share

Hi girls!

We’re looking for a 6th housemate to join our lovely home in Haringey/Finsbury Park. Our housemate is leaving us to move in with her boyfriend (I’m actually devastated), so we’re looking for someone who wants to join our lil family of girlies aged 27-34. A house share with 6 people might seem scary, but I promise you it’s a vibe and we have a massive kitchen and a biggish garden!

We’re looking for someone who wants to become friends with their housemates, as we love to do stuff together from time to time. We also love having brain rot conversations in the living room while watching Love Island (can’t believe Ellie’s walked 🫠). We equally appreciate everyone’s alone time, as some of us love to read, weave or take daily naps.

We're looking for a sixth housemate to fill good-sized double and furnished room in our warm and welcoming house share on the lovely Harringay Ladder as our housemate is leaving to move in with her partner. It’s a peaceful spot, perfect if you're looking for a calm and comfy home with friendly vibes. A female (or NB person) is preferred as we love our girlie house.

The Room:
• Fully furnished with a double bed (with under-bed storage), wardrobe, and side table, plus space for a desk (see last photo for desk set up)
• Light and airy, located at the back of the house overlooking the garden - super quiet and relaxing
• Bathroom close by, shared with just two housemates

The House:
• Lovely modern kitchen with double ovens, fridges, and sinks, plus a breakfast table surrounded by plants
• Comfy shared living space with bifold doors opening onto our garden with a patio and lots of greenery
• Multiple bathrooms - no morning queues!
• Friendly, clean, respectful and queer friendly household
• We have a cleaner who comes fortnightly for the communal spaces (included in the rent), but everyone keeps things clean and tidy in the meantime
• Sadly no pets, but there are plenty of cats roaming the garden (and one that visits us frequently)

The Housemates:
We’re a friendly bunch who all are down for a cuppa and a chat. Currently in the house are 5 girls aged 27–34, working in publishing, events, the police and environmental consulting. Some of us love hanging out on evenings and weekends - think wine and cheese nights, MAFS Australia/Love Island marathons. Others prefer quieter evenings, so there’s a nice balance of social time and personal space, and we all respect each other’s vibe.

We’re into a bit of everything - books, crafting, salsa, good films and trashy TV, house plants and of course... cheese - but there’s no pressure to be the same. Just looking for someone who fits the vibe.

Location:
• 15-min walk to Manor House (Piccadilly Line), short bus ride to Finsbury Park (Victoria Line)
• 5-min walk to Harringay Green Lanes Overground and Harringay National Rail
• Great bus links, including three night bus routes
• Loads of local cafes, pubs, restaurants and parks nearby
• Large Aldi and Sainsbury’s just down the road, plus lots of independent shops open after hours on Green Lanes

Rent & Details:
• £880 per month, bills included
• £880 deposit
• 6-month rolling contract
• Move-in date: from 2nd August (ASAP preferred)
