Bright double bedroom in lovely Stokey flat

We’re looking for a flatmate for our bright, plant-filled, Stoke Newington home to move in from 14 October (date is flexible).

Our home is a lovely ground level maisonette right next to Clissold Park and we are looking for a tidy, respectful and thoughtful housemate.

The room is a large double bedroom with a king sized bed, south facing so very light and airy, with a built-in wardrobe and furnished with a double bed. The room is £853 pcm excl. bills which are around £120 a month each, which covers council tax (band C), water, gas/electricity, internet, & TV licence. Deposit is £905 and is secured with the Deposit Protection Scheme.

The area is lovely, lots of great pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby, and is located in between Finsbury Park, Arsenal, and Canonbury stations, as well as bus stops a couple mins walk away to Waterloo and London Bridge (341, 141).

A lil bit about me:

Rumali (25) - I work in TV Production and have been living in London for 3 years now after moving up from Poole, Dorset. I am quite the deliveroo queen and so you will pretty much only be sharing the kitchen with one other housemate! (my new years resolution is for this to change- but it won't). I'm always down for a glass of wine or trip to the pub!

We’re often on busy schedules & appreciate having peaceful downtime but we’re also sociable & love to have a chat/drink/shared meal every now and again!

The maisonette has a large kitchen with a gas hob/dishwasher/washing machine, a very spacious and bright plant filled living room with a sofa bed and lovely wooden dining table, as well a lovely south-facing garden with patio and table and chairs. We also have a bathroom with a generous bathtub & shower, as well as a downstairs WC (such a plus in the mornings when everyone’s getting ready for work!).

The area is quiet and in an excellent location with lots of great transport links, we’re a 10min walk to Finsbury Park & Arsenal stations (Victoria & Piccadilly lines plus National Rail), & a 15min walk from Canonbury overground.

Our landlord is super responsive anytime anything needs fixing, such as smoke detectors, boiler etc.
