Lovely double room Newington Green

Hello!

I live in a beautiful 2 bed flat just off newington green near dalston and islington. The area is amazing, lots of cafes, parks and restaurants right on the doorstep, as well as busses taking you everywhere you need to go and Canonbury overground station about 5 mins walk away. I have lived all over London at different points and this is by far my favourite spot I’ve ever lived!

The flat leads onto a patio and a lovely peaceful garden, and has a nice living room and dining area.

About me: I am a 32 year old woman, and I work for a charity supporting asylum seekers & refugees and am a qualified psychotherapist. I work in the office everyday and am generally quite active and busy outside of work too. In my spare time I love cooking, socializing, swimming at the lido, running and yoga, and silversmithing. I’m vegetarian, and it would be great if you were too, but also okay if you’re not :) I like to cook for friends from time to time or invite people round for a drink around the firebowl in the garden.

The flat comes with a very loving friendly rescue cat, Frida. so you would need to be happy with cats/not allergic etc - ideally a cat lover!

I have made the flat feel like a home and I would love to find someone who values a peaceful, kind, welcoming space as much as I do. Your room goes out directly into the garden through double doors, and is incredibly quiet and peaceful. There is furniture in the room already for you to use: a bed frame, wardrobe, chest of drawers. The room has been freshly painted.

One thing to say is the flat can be quite chilly in winter (as all Victorian buildings can be), so ideally you’re used to this and like knitwear!

The bills would be split between us. Depending on the season, this comes to about £150-180 each a month - council tax, water, wifi, energy bills.

You would have a contract directly with our landlady, and pay rent monthly to her. The room is available straight away.
