Hi!

Our current housemate has had to move back up North, so we are looking for a new housemate to join our lovely, friendly house.

The Room
The room is mid-size, and comes with a double-bed, a chest of drawers, a build-in wardrobe and an ottoman with plenty of space remaining for a desk, if you work from home.

The House
The house is spread across three floors and includes a large living room with lots of natural light as well as a large kitchen with a dining table, which connects to a small private garden (excellent for a barbeque in the summer). There's also a shared bathroom (which is only shared between 3 of the 4 housemates as one of us has an ensuite) and an additional WC on the ground floor. We're also fortunate to have a large garage (great for storage) and a designated free parking space (currently unused)!

The Area
It's a great peaceful area, only a short distance from a nature path, which leads to Highgate Station (approx. 10 mins) and to Finsbury Park in the other direction (approx. 25 minutes). This part of London is very green as we're also close to Hampstead Heath and Waterlow Park.

If you're commuting, we're handily located between two tube stations: Archway (a leisurely 15 minute walk - Northern Line, Zone 2 - approx. 15 minutes to Central from there) and Highgate (10 minute walk - Northern Line, Zone 3 - approx. 20 minutes to Central from there).

Crouch End is only a ten minute walk away and has a number of supermarkets (Waitrose; Tesco; Sainsburys; Marks & Spencer) as well as two cinemas and lots of bookshops; coffee shops; bars; restaurants; pubs; the usual high street favourites; as well as some nice independent shops.

The flatmates
The existing flatmates are myself, Jen and Rob. We're all professionals in our 30s, working hybrid-ly between home and the office. We're a friendly and easy-going house who like socialising, but also enjoying our own space and doing our own thing. As a house, we like watching tv and films together after work; chatting while we cook (sometimes sharing a meal); and popping to the pub for a quiz or a quiet drink.

The Details
The rent is currently 786 pm, plus bills. Bills are usually around £150 - £180 per month and include, electric, gas, water, tv license, internet, council tax and a cleaner who comes once a fortnight.

A deposit of £1,015.65 will be required, which will be lodged securely in the DPS.

Our current flatmate has had to leave at short notice to be with family, so we are able to accommodate quite an early move in date.
