Description
Welcome to the flat!
My name is Santi and I'm looking for a new housemate to share the space. I've lived here for the past three years and don't plan on leaving any time soon, once you see the place you'll see why!
The flat is on the ground floor of a beautiful victorian terraced house. The street is blocked off at one end, so it means the street is really quiet. The neighbours are lovely and there is a real sense of community on the street. It's only a 10/15 minute walk to Finsbury Park station, so it's well connected.
The flat has two bedrooms, a bathroom, living area / kitchen, big garden and a summer house/shed (my photography studio). The real gem about the flat is the big garden. In the summer the BBQ is always going and the french windows are open, creating a lovely indoor/outdoor space. The room comes with a bed and a wardrobe so its a blank canvas for you, we can have the bed removed if you want but the wardrobes are too big to move.
A little about me...
I'm 28 and work as Location Manager in the film industry and a photographer / darkroom printer on the side (hence the summer house set up). I don't work a normal 9-5, there's times when I'm working from home, and other times where I'm out the house on set, doing long hours. So you'll have the flat to yourself at times. I am clean and organised and like to keep the house tidy. I like to cycle, love art, and am always cooking. I also have a pretty great cat.
A little about you...
Friendly / sociable, keen to hang out, but also happy doing your own thing. I'm looking for someone who is tidy, respects the space and can contribute to it too. I'm all for someone who works from home every now and again, but ideally not full time. Hopefully you're a cat person. If you have a pet please do apply, as long as the pet is good with cats. Getting down to it, just looking for another nice human being to share the space with!
The landlord:
He's a private landlord and he is great. He's always around if there are issues, but having lived here for three years they have been very few and far between. He's super friendly, and cares for the property..
Boring stuff:
Rent £1000 per month
Council Tax £75 per month
Water £15 per month (paid per quarter)
Broadband £15
Electric £15 roughly (depends on the year)
Gas £20 roughly (depends on time of year)
So the total is £1135
I am looking for someone to move in on the 1st November but dates can be flexible. I look forward to hearing from you!
