Hi, potential future housemate!
We’re looking forward to welcoming a couple of new members to our friendly house share and are excited to tell you all about our two available rooms. The first is a bright, spacious double, furnished with a bed, wardrobe, bookshelf, desk, and chair and it’ll be available from 26 February. The second would be identically worded, albeit our friends are taking their bed with them. So, that room might suit someone who prefers to bring their own bed etc but we’re happy to get one pre-installed if required, Couples are fine for one of the rooms & potentially both. While we’re ideally looking for people who plan to stay longer-term, we’re happy to be flexible. The house itself has plenty to offer. Our fully furnished kitchen comes equipped with a tumble dryer, and there’s a cosy living room complete with a sofa-bed for guests. We also enjoy a spacious garden—perfect for summer gatherings—along with one full bathroom and a separate WC. We’ve never had an issue with use because we start work at different times / days. Internet is super-fast (350 Mb/s via Virgin Media). Double glazed windows, so the house remains warm and peaceful.
We’re located in a quiet neighbourhood just five tube stops from Camden Town. Brent Cross station (on the Northern Line) is only a three-minute walk away, and buses, including a night bus, are also 2 minutes walk. So, we enjoy how it’s close to nature, but equally central London & beyond is easily accessible for nights out / day trips, with the northern line so close. You’ll find a large shopping centre, supermarkets, shops, and parks within 10-15 mins walking distance, and Hampstead Heath is close enough for delightful strolls / picnics. You’ll be sharing with three professionals aged 30–38(6 in total) in a stable, friendly household—some of us have called this place home for over nine years! British, Lithuanian & Iranian heritage. The house has always had a combo of males/ females & a range of
sexualities / nationalities over the years. We don't have a preference for a person's personality or world views, as we're open minded & have a range of interests
amongst us. We’ve also got an adorable cat (Elsa) who’ll unfortunately be moving in a few months when our friends get settled in their new place. We're not a house that issues rules, though everyone collaborates on weekly cleaning and upkeep, so everything runs smoothly. We tend to keep things relaxed and quiet during the week & help each other with life events. Whilst also enjoying occasional evenings of music, food, & weekends out, whether together or with our individual groups of friends. Happy for people with pets & smokers are fine too(out side). The 2 large rooms are £900 & £850, which includes all bills (council tax, gas, electricity, internet, & household essentials like washing-up liquid and toilet paper). The deposit matches the rent, and we pay rent to the estate agent on the first of each month.
