I am looking for a new flatmate for a two-bed flatshare, a short walk from Hampstead Village . The room is in a two-bed, two-bath flat located in NW3 (Hampstead), in Zone 2. It’s a safe residential area, but close to a main road and excellent transport links. We’re also within walking distance of Hampstead Village and Hampstead Heath, ideal for walks and a more relaxed lifestyle.
The rent is £1475 per month, plus bills averaging 220, depending on the time of the year, including water, gas, electricity, council tax and wifi . The room is big and bright, with tall ceilings, double doors to a large balcony overlooking a communal garden, a king-size mattress and a large white wardrobe. The flat has large windows and no carpets; it is all wooden flooring. The flat is on the raised ground floor.
The room has its own en suite bathroom with a bath. The flat is light, airy and well looked after. There is an open-plan living space, the kitchen with a dishwasher and a small room in a hall for a washing machine. The lounge/living room also doubles as a creative space for occasional drawing and painting. It has a dining table, a lovely cream sofa and a lot of books:) I work full-time, often doing late evening shifts, so you would have the space for yourself a lot.
There is no TV in the house; we currently have a projector only. The flat is very quiet and peaceful.
Ideally, you would be able to commit to a year, due to the tenancy agreement. The landlord will carry out all checks and require references, right to live in Uk etc, so please have it all ready .
Transport links are excellent:
* Finchley Road & Frognal Overground is a 2-minute walk,
* Finchley Road station (Jubilee & Metropolitan lines) is 5–7 minutes away , Hampstead station (Northern line) and West Hampstead Thameslink are around 10-15 minutes walk.
* Central London is typically reachable in about 20 minutes.
I am ideally looking for someone who fits the following:
