Description
Hello! I am looking for a new flatmate for a two-bed flatshare, short walk from Hampstead village
. The room is in a two-bed, two-bath flat located in NW3 (Hampstead), in Zone 2. It’s a safe residential area, but close to a main road and excellent transport links. We’re also within walking distance of Hampstead Village and Hampstead Heath, ideal for walks and a more relaxed lifestyle.
The rent is £1480 per month( including cleaner twice amonth), plus bills averaging 220, depending on the time of the year, including water, gas, electric and council tax
The room is a big and bright, with tall ceilings, double door to a large balcony overlooking comunnal garden, a king size matrace and large white wardrobe ( this can be discussed with current flatmate).
The room has its own en suite bathroom with a bath. The flat is light, airy and well looked after. There is an open-plan kitchen with a dishwasher and a small room in a hall for a washing machine. The lounge/living room is used as my studio for occasional drawing and painting. There is a dining table, a lovely cream sofa and a lot of books:) I work full-time, so it's not always in use, and it's fine to use, but I guess you would need to be ok with the setup.
There is no TV in the house, and I would prefer it to stay that way. The flat is very quiet and peaceful
Ideally, you would be able to commit to a year. The landlord will carry out all checks and require references, right to live in Uk etc, so please have it all ready The flat has high ceilings, big windows and no carpets. It’s on the raised ground floor.
Transport links are excellent: * Finchley Road & Frognal Overground is a 2-minute walk, * Finchley Road station (Jubilee & Metropolitan lines) is 5–7 minutes away , Hampstead station (Northern line) and West Hampstead Thameslink are around 15 minutes walk. * Central London is typically reachable in about 20 minutes. I am ideally looking for someone who fits the following:
* Aged 35-45, it can go up and down each way; it depends on many factors
* Full-time professional, earning at least £30k or with a UK-based guarantor, as the landlord carries out a string of checks, NOT working from home
* Not a student * NO couples * NO smokers * Clean, respectful, considerate, mindful * LGBTQ+ friendly, openminded, neurodiverse-friendly
* Not a party person or heavy drinker * Someone who will treat the flat like a home and can respect it
A bit about your flatmate: creative working in hospitality as a sommelier, with interests in painting, yoga and travel . If this sounds like a good fit and you’d like to view the flat or ask any questions, feel free to get in touch! Please kindly note that I will be able to respond only to those who can be seriously considered for the room. Thank you for understanding.
