Description

The property is the top three floors of a town house. The bedroom for rent is on the 1st floor along with a bathroom (shower, tub, basin, toilet) and another bedroom. The 2nd floor is taken up by an open plan kitchen diner and lounge. The 3rd floor has a wetroom toilet with shower, a bedroom and a roof terrace. The house is well situated, 5 minutes walk from Hampstead Heath, and close to stations on both the Overground and Northern Line. The 24 and 46 bus routes, that both serve Central London, stop right outside the house - has saved me many a late night uber fare over the years!

Everything included: water, gas, heating, electricity, 200mb Wifi, and council tax.

Our friend Amy is moving in with her boyfriend, in the New Year, so the room is available from January 15th 2021.  The bedroom for rent is a double,  it has lots of built in cupboards and storage.  There is room for a small desk  for those working from home, however if you'd prefer to set up a desk in the main room, that is fine, and there is space.

I'm Will,  a 25 year old, working in tech. Outside of work, I enjoy anything outdoorsy, running on Hampstead Heath, drumming (don't worry, they're electric!), squash, going to gigs and failing to learn Mandarin.

My flatmate Toby, 24, also works in tech, and outside of work enjoys reading, films & tv, gaming and occasionally dusting off his violin for a bit of practice (not electric, but it doesn’t happen very often!).

We enjoy doing our own thing and having our own space, we're both working from home at the moment, at desks in our rooms, and do sometimes keep quite long work hours.  But we also like to unwind after work, by playing video games together (mostly super smash bros!),  on the projector, or the occasional board game.

The flat is in generally good nick, and is kept pretty clean by us all. I won't pretend the flat is without it's niggles though, the plants on the roof terrace are in need of a little TLC and a lick of paint is definitely needed here and there. It is also quite a cluttered flat, as the pictures will hopefully suggest, while your room is completely clean and empty, the living spaces are slightly more full. There are hundreds of books scattered on shelves around the house, and our cable management skills, leave a lot to be desired. We're not at all protective of any of this stuff, so you can use anything and put your own things where you wish, just thought it was worth mentioning that the flat isn't a completely blank canvas, which is a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. It's a very warm flat, as the hot water and gas is included in the ground rent,  as it shares the boilers with the Royal Free hospital, and is therefore unlimited.
