Description
Incredible double room to rent in spacious, nicely decorated upstairs flat. We're on a residential road which is really quiet, amazingly enough for somewhere so close to the high road.
The living room is really big, with wooden floors throughout the flat. I've been living here for 7 years and absolutely love it. I'm only leaving now cos I'm moving in with my boyfriend. My housemates are fab; Matt is an English guy who works in international relations and Fionn is an Irish actor (like me).
We're quite busy so are looking for a reliable, friendly housemate who isn't going to be throwing parties at all hours, but its a really relaxed, easygoing atmosphere.
The flat is really well located for transport. It's a minute's walk from the Kiburn tube station- on the jubilee line zone 2. It's 3 mins from the overground Brondesbury (which goes east)and there are tons of buses around the corner taking you everywhere; Oxford st is 30 mins, Notting Hill is 20mins.
It's walking distance to St John's Wood, Swiss Cottage, Queen's Park (which has a brilliant farmer's market and an excellent video shop) and West Hampstead.
There's a Sainsbury's, Tesco's & Waitrose nearby on the High St where there's loads of cafes and proper pubs. The Tricycle theatre+cinema is super and there are lots of music and comedy gigs on.
Rent of £700/ month doesn't include council tax which is £55 each. Bills come to an average of 50/month.
We have wifi and a landline phone and the sky recording thing on the tv.
