We are delighted to offer a Homeshare opportunity available soon for a sharer to live comfortably and affordably in a lovely part of North London, in return for providing around 10 hours a week of practical support and companionship to a lady in her mid-70’s.

Homeshare Location:

Good bus routes from the local bus stop to Mill Hill East station (Northern line) 10 minutes, and to the shops, cafes and overground station at Mill Hill Broadway 15-20 minutes. Finchley Nurseries is a 10-minute walk away. There is a manual car available to a driver.

What the Opportunity Involves:

In return for the low-cost accommodation (£199 per month), we are looking to match our lovely friendly homeowner with a kind and compassionate sharer who is happy to provide a little practical support and companionship and a reassuring presence overnight.

Our Homeowner is an active lady who likes keeping fit, walking, visiting the local garden centre and seeing family and friends. She has been sharing her home for over the last year with a lovely lady who is sadly leaving to return to her home, and she would like to find a new sharer as she does wish to live alone.

This opportunity would suit a female sharer who is working or studying during the day, preferably on a hybrid or flexible basis, and has their own independent life, who can be around for some daily chat and catch ups and occasional evening and weekend companionship. Someone kind and friendly who would enjoy going out with the homeowner for an occasional walk or coffee when possible and sharing a few meals in the evenings. Our homeowner is a good cook but less inclined to make a meal just for herself, so someone who also enjoys cooking simple healthy meals to share would be a bonus. Practical support might include grocery shopping, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and IT support.

The family dog visits occasionally.

This is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do NOT pay any rent to the Homeowner. Bills are included, although you may be asked to make a modest contribution to the Homeowner towards the energy bills, and council tax if you are working.
