I am looking for a flatmate to move into my 2-bedroom flat in Vauxhall. The location is excellent; it's very central and right by the River Thames. The apartment is a 10 minutes walk to Vauxhall station, 15 minutes to Westminster station, and 20 minutes to Waterloo station. The flat is a duplex flat on the 7th and 8th floors. Downstairs are the two bedrooms, and upstairs is an open-plan living space that includes the dining area, living room, and kitchen. There's a balcony on each floor of the flat too. The flat is very modern, bright and well kept. The building is also very safe as there's a 24hr concierge.
There are two hotels next to the building, with bars and restaurants. There is a Tesco Express 2 minutes away. Various parks are nearby, and Battersea power station is a short bus journey away, with more restaurants, bars and cafes. Southbank is also within walking distance, with further things to do. A big Sainsbury's and Waitrose are nearby for big shops, each with a direct bus. Overall, it is a very safe area with a lot going on.
A crucial point for me is tidiness and cleanliness; it's imperative to keep everything clean and tidy at all times in the shared areas of the flat; if you are not a clean individual, please don't consider this room, respectfully. Usually, a cleaner comes around once every two weeks, which would be an additional cost, but I also expect people to clean after themselves daily.
All bills, council tax, and broadband are included apart from the electricity bill.
