Double Room in Elephant & Castle Houseshare

🏡 The Room & House
- Fully furnished, double bedroom with wardrobe, drawers, and desk.
- Property is a recently refurbished terraced house with private garden.
- Open plan lounge and dining area with separate kitchen leading out onto patio garden. Kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher.
- Two toilets and large bath/shower room.
- Central SE1 location, ten minute walk to Borough and Elephant & Castle stations. Two of us walk to work in Bank and we are about a 15/20 minute walk to London Bridge and Bermondsey Street. We are close to a big Tesco/Lidl, and a load of pubs and restaurants including Mercato Metropolitano.
- Street parking on our quiet road is available but you have to buy a permit - it is around £150 for the year.

💰 Bills
We each contribute £90 per month on top of the room rent. This covers everything below:
- Virgin Media Broadband. The connection is more than good enough for the days when all four of us happen to be working from home.
- T. V. licence. We have a BBC TV licence but no other terrestrial channels. Instead we have an Xbox in the living room which we use for Netflix, Amazon, IPlayer, etc.
- Gas, electric, and water.
- Council Tax.
- Cleaner – once per fortnight who cleans communal areas.

👩🏻‍💻 You & Us
- Jess, Vicky, Jack and Mem are aged 29-32, working in London.
- I am moving out to live with my girlfried so am looking for somebody to take my place.
- Mem and Jack share the largest room in the house which has an en suite.
- It is a large house though with a big kitchen and living room, and there are two additional toilets between the other 3 of you.
- They would prefer to live with someone in a similar age range.
- The tenancy will run until the end of October 2025.
