Lovely double room in Bermondsey from September!

Hello!

I'm looking for someone to take over a fantastic double room in Bermondsey (SE1) from September! My current flatmate is moving on to exciting new prospects, so their double room is now going spare.

The room is officially available from the 13th of September, but if needs be we can talk to my current flatmate to see if there's any chance for flexibility in dates.

The room itself is a good size and comes with plenty of storage (wardrobe and chest of drawers), as well as a double bed, 2 desks and a bedside table. It overlooks gardens as opposed to a street, and so is really quiet and private.

The flat consists of 2 double bedrooms, a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room, a lovely balcony and a small room that is currently being used as an office/storeroom and would be perfect for anyone looking to work from home if they needed to. There's plenty more storage throughout the flat too if needed. The area has loads of fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants what with Bermondsey Street and the Shad Thames being a short walk away. There are large supermarkets just around the corner (Tesco, Lidl, Asda), loads of buses to seemingly every corner of London within 5 minutes of the flat and Bermondsey, London Bridge and E&C tube stations within easy access too. And to top it all off, it's just by Old Kent Road, which has restaurants and shops that cater for culinary tastes from all over the world!

A bit about me - I'm a junior doctor, originally from Preston in Lancashire but now living in London and working in a hospital in north Kent. I'm super relaxed and friendly, and I love to keep my space clean and tidy as I'm a big believer in the whole "tidy home, tidy mind" thing. I've always loved cooking up big flat dinners, watching TV and hanging out with my flatmates in the past, but equally I totally respect the desire for privacy, peace and alone time. I love going out to explore London as there's still so much I haven't seen after 7 years here, but equally a chilled night in just nattering away is one of my favourite things ever. I also have an incredibly part-time job as a musician, so I love sharing recent musical interests or even jamming out with others if the inspiration strikes! But I promise I have headphones for plenty of my instruments too, since I too appreciate the need for a quiet flat.

Unfortunately, my flat can't have couples as it doesn't have an HMO license. It also can't have pets due to licensing restrictions, as much as I'd love one!
